Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy

In this modern day many people suffer from emotional, psychological and physical difficulties for many reasons.

The root causes of which are very often deeply rooted in the psyche of the person.

This, more often than not affects their daily life.

One feels helpless, cornered and lost due to not understanding what is going on, what caused it and not knowing what to do, resulting various bodily symptoms, for which most often medication is of little help.

Sometimes one feels that he has been looking for an answer to a question he doesn’t even know.

This is because the mind and body want to heal and want to learn.

Take away the word ‘Hypnosis’ what you have is a state of mind where healing and learning takes place.

This state of mind is in all of us. It has been, since the beginning of time.

We have just forgotten how to use it.

But now we can put some understanding to this.

Today the use of Hypnosis is widely acclaimed as an effective therapy for mental, psychological, physical difficulties and issues of other aspects of everyday life.

Hypnosis is just a form of focused relaxation that allows access to the inner or unconscious mind where answer to one’s every problem resides.

Hypnosis guides the attention away from the every day world, which distracts our focus from looking for a solution in the inner mind, and helps us concentrate on a goal such as overcoming an unreasonable fear or quitting smoking.

What you experience when you are hypnotized is called an, ‘altered state of consciousness’

So you are awake but you are not paying attention to the “conscious” world in the same way.

Instead your thoughts are focused inward and you experience deep relaxation, which brings about an altered state of consciousness.

Hypnotherapy

Using hypnosis to promote healing or positive development in any way is known as Hypnotherapy.

It is a very powerful, gentle and safe method, used to tackle problems under hypnosis.

Modern hypnotherapists use hypnosis not only for medical purposes but also as an aid for the resolution of many problems of psychological and emotional origin.

It is used to take control over many difficult such issues such as negative emotions, fears, and addictions.

It has been successfully used to control chronic pain.

It has been seen to have an effect in reducing blood pressure and anxiety,
frequency of certain types of headaches,
 controlling bleeding,
difficulty in sleeping,
stress due to any cause,
weight issues,
 asthma,
skin disorders,
enhance all types of performances such as public speaking,
 boost confidence,
self esteem and assertiveness,
 motivation,
concentration,
exam nerves,
chronic conditions such as Irritable bowel syndrome, among many others.

Hypnosis can help us think positively towards ourselves, and our ambition, and have the will to follow our dreams and continue to carry on even if we encounter barriers along the way.

People have their own weaknesses in life. Sometimes these weaknesses are the main factors why we cannot achieve our dreams.

With hypnosis we can discard the old habits and thinking patterns away and overcome issues such as:-
 poor eating habits,
smoking,
drinking,
oversleeping and overspending.

**In children, issues related to
stress and anxiety such as bedwetting,
sleepwalking,
 nail biting,
emotional issues
 studying and concentration difficulties,

growing up and body image issues etc have been very successfully treated with hypnotherapy.

It creates a state of deep relaxation, quietens the conscious mind and leaves the unconscious part of the mind to allow therapeutic work to take place.

It helps improve the health and life style.

It  creates relaxing brain wave patterns.

Stress of any form and origin such as
 work,
financial,
relationship,
sickness,
Exams,
Competitive sports etc
all these responds very well to Hypnosis.

Hypnosis enables you to command the power of your unconscious mind to make whatever change you desire.

It is estimated that 85% people of all age groups will readily respond to clinical hypnotherapy.

Hypnotherapy is used to treat a variety of conditions but they can only help patients who try to harness their own healing powers.

Power of hypnosis depends on the person’s openness to suggestion and willingness to change.

Therefore all hypnosis is self- hypnosis!

The therapist only facilitates the process.
Hypnosis and hypnotherapy needs to be done under the care of professionally trained hypnotherapists.
