If we /our children are caught/trapped in a fire at :-
Malls, Cinemas, Pubs, Disco, Schools, College, Kindergarten.....etc
The best position for us to be in this situation is to crawl our way to exit which will be lightened green.
DO NOT PANIC and run/rush like others to exit because when we panic and start running towards exit, we may inhale more Carbon Dioxide into our lungs and we may collapse.
Why do we have to stay down or crawl ??
In case of fire with heavy dark smokes, light particles of carbon dioxide raises up AND heavy particles of oxygen sinks down , so it is best to stay down and crawl our way out fast inhaling oxygen.

- Carbon Dioxide
- Multi Purpose Dry Chemical
- Dry Powder
What is the difference between these 4 Extinguishers??
All Multipurpose Water - if we use this to stop a fire in our home/office, make sure we off the main switch box to avoid being electrocuted. And we may have to redo/replace all the wet furniture, paper works, computers and other equipments.
Carbon Dioxide - best to use this to stop frie from spreading because it won't cause any effect on the person using it and the equipments.
Multipurpose Dry Chemical - it creates forms all over the place, on equipments and surrounding. Damage and cost after fire.
Dry Powder - Never use this, it will cause more harm to the person using it and the surrounding. More damage and cost after fire.
Life Jackets
Can a Life Jacket during disaster save us from drowning and how long can it help us to stay afloat?
Each time when we get into a Ferry, Helicopter, Speed Boat, Banana Boat, Light Aircraft, Ship Liners, Airplane its important to ask the person-in-charge, how long can their Life jacket help us to stay afloat.
If the answer we get in NOT SURE or DON"T KNOW, then we assume that the Life Jacket will help us to stay afloat for half and hour. If in case of emergency or disaster happens; we know that within that 1/2 hour, we have to find/look for something firm to help us stay afloat other then depending on our Life Jackets.
BECAUSE THE DURATION OF TIME FOR A LIFE JACKET TO HELP US STAY AFLOAT IS ACCORDING TO ITS PRICE AND QUALITY. THE HIGHER THE PRICE OF A LIFE JACKET, THE LONGER IT WILL HELP US TO STAY AFLOAT.

All Aeroplanes and Ship Liners - 72 hours help us stay afloat.
Oil and Gas Rig - 1 week help us to stay afloat.
