If you are buying a crystal pendant to enhance your health/life, the sale person may mention to you that the crystal has the cutting of Star of David and its very powerful. But do they actually tell you how you should wear it??
One should wear Star of David with the outer/upper triangle facing out or frontwards and the inner triangle inwards; facing us or touching our skin (refer to the picture on the left)

the outer/upper triangle pointed upwards functions for attracting good/positive energy/people/opportunities into to our lives.
the inner triangle pointed downwards functions to absorbs all negativity in us sending them back to earth.
